Not a hope. The D2 track is 6.125'' pitch .. the D4 track is 6.75" pitch .. the track links are much wider on the D4, and the bolt holes totally different spacing, and hole diameter.

using Hardwood blocks? At the Circus Museum in Baraboo, WI they have D4's up there with rubber pads bolted on. I would think the weight of a D4 would push alot of snow before the wood would slip.

Bill Glenn that used to be on here regularly has a D2 that he runs around his yard and at shows and he made up wood blocks attached to the grousers and his works out well he claims. He is down in the Lancaster area of Pa.I sure wish he would come back on as we all miss his showing of his tractor and dog and daughters at the steam train shows.

Well now, here's a question. Is the track chain from a 933-42A the same as 2bluejon's street pads? As I understand, the 933 uses the larger D4 based components. Thus, would the track pads Vern has fit my 933? Vern, wanna trade?😕
