I called them about 2 months ago looking to purchase hydraulic adjusters for my D4 7U 4 roller. Spoke to two different ladies who looked into their inventory and they didn’t have what I needed, I was told that they only had a limited supply (a few units left) for the D4 7U 5 roller. I was told they lost an older gentleman who worked there for years, (It seemed to me that it was inferred he passed away) he took care of their tractor parts business and they weren’t planning to make any more adjusters for the D4 7U as he had the knowledge base of the older dozers these fit. Anyways, hopefully they will reconsider. Just passing along what I experienced. OBR

Thanks, didn't know that. Too bad some of these young generations don't even know what a 5 roller 7U is let alone read a set of prints to fab something.

I wonder if they would let ACMOC have the blueprints?

Probably not too difficult to build. I'll know better when I get into the adjusters on our D4's I have a set of those adjusters on the parts track frames we have to look at.

Good question regarding the prints, I didn't ask them their intention for any other parts, as I was specifically looking for the hydraulic adjuster for the D4 7U 4 roller.

Rome K/G: Not trying to hijack your post, but I did find another option for hydraulic adjusters from Paint Valley Equipment in Millersburg, Ohio they listed aftermarket hydraulic adjusters to convert from manual to hydraulic for the D4 and a few other early models (Allis HD, International TD) Part number PV310X which I found for sale on www.brokentractor.com as well as Ebay.
Eventually, I will get around to getting them installed, unlike the Henderson model, they don't seem to just bolt up...it looks like they are going to need some fabrication with the front idler arms...anyways, just wanted to share what I have found out there. We sure could use some of these companies to keep producing parts for our Cats.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
