This guy from Yesterday's Machinery made his own Magnetizer and he shows how easy it is to make and use. A Magnetizers are used to re-energize magnets .. So if you have tried all other avenues and you still have weak spark from your magneto your magnet may most likely need re-energized.

there is a art in remagnetising magnetos. but more often it simply a bad coil. and that is a whole art in its own. to do it properly they need to be vacuum impregnated this gets the electrical varnish all the way into the coil sealing it properly. this gives good life and means a coil may last the life of the machine.
