I am new here and registered today after looking for information on a small crawler tractor I am interested in. It is not a Cat product but I am looking for information on a small crawler built during WW11. It is a MIDGI using a IHC power unit. Any information would be appreciated. I have a picture of one and will try to post it here. I am sorry if this should not be posted here but I will check this forum out and try to live by the rules. Thanks....James

Looks like a Midgi which I believe was constructed in the 40's using International parts. Go to the Red Power web site and type in Midgi and you should find some photos and a small amount of information.

That is definately a Midgi. The tractor in the photo belongs to ChadE in Larmie Wy I believe now and came from Turlock about 5 to 6 years ago.
As I have heard Midgi's were built in Oakland CA during WW2. If there is a webpage on their origins I would definately like to get some history to help understand the heritiege on my Midgi.
