I found this 15 for sale and wondering if its a good deal, im looking for something for a senior project in school. cant deside between a vintage truck (semi), tractor, or crawler like this. lol i want them all
this is what the add says:
1929? Anitque Caterpillar Model 15 Dozer $2000 OBO
"I bought this a few years back, my research show is from the 1920's. Comes with a blade. It ran when I parked it a few years back, but I have not ran it lately."

looks to be a wide 15- 1929 would be the earliest that model was made. Price depends on Undercarriage condition and motor. Are they stuck? How much work are you looking to do? Can you do? If it is fairly complete (more pics required) I would offer somewhere between 1000 1500 for it, espically if it had the right carb and mag. YOu do not see many wide pv 15s

Seems like if it was running, then that is half the battle, It should still have all the parts. As long as the overall condition is good, I'd say its worth $2000, offer him a little less and see how bad he wants to sell.
