My new toy, 1934, Cat-28 tail seat, sr# 4F-612 Found for me by a good friend. Was told "that it ran when parked several years ago" but the mag quit.
Forgot cameras when we loaded it on trailer. It had settled into ground about 4 inches, some how we worked up a sweat with jacks and comealongs.
Repaired mag and carburetor, new plug wires cleaned plugs and removed gas tank to replace tank bottom and sand blast in and out. Sloshed tank (both) with "Por-15. Cleaned air intake system, converted air cleaner to a dry element. Needs new/replacement of heat box and exhaust manifold. Repaired water tubes and painted the parts that were removed including hood. Needs lots more but it runs good and drives well, (no stuck clutches or brakes) Installed some new leather parts from John Hahn and it looks good beside my RD-6 and 212 Cat grader. To bad it missed the BSOT. A Big thanks to all who worked so hard on the BSOT in the hot weather
