Friends, all Caterpillar Fans here on this board
Thoughts and wishes as follows --

HAPPY NEW YEAR -- May 2023 find all happy, healthy and enjoying YELLOW, GRAY-RED and BLACK "tracklayers" or as we know them "CATERPILLARS"!

We have an inherently dangerous environment, from start to stop, do it with thought and SAFELY.

BEST/HOLT, CATERPILLAR brought this group together and like the tracks we so enjoy and depend upon, we can not allow the "rails" to "come unglued".
Agree to disagree, but PLEASE agree to accomplish the task here, keep our Caterpillars and our club healthy.  The officers are "charged" with a very tough challenge, that of keeping the membership appraised of the happenings while dealing with the multitude of opinions and ideas from around the world.  A thankless job and one with little appreciation, those officers are driven by the will to keep this club going.

Keep this board alive, don't just view the postings - add too it.

Experiences and knowledge are only good if shared and those sharing their time and knowledge should be appreciated.
That being said --- THANK YOU EACH AND ALL - Your input and knowledge is appreciated - your support for those using this board and your expertise is without compensation, an act of pure kindness.

"keep 'em crawlin"    ( and a word of caution --- beware when CTS is at a gathering, always armed with his camera!  You could be found on this site in a future posting.)
(oh my- those eyelashes )

CTS
.

Yes, good riddance to 2022. We always say the new year HAS to be better! As mentioned earlier, from our local standpoint, very dismal. Farming at its worst in decades, and a major trickle down effect on the economy. So, counting my blessings and glad that I am able to walk upright and chew my own food still, and able to drive to the store to buy some.
Wishing everyone out here has a wonderful new year and let it be more prosperous than last year! JM

YEE HA! Let's move forward and make 2023 a great year for the Club! This is the time to turn the page and move forward.

Many good comments here, one that I wholeheartedly agree with is: Get on the forum, don't be shy, always remember we're better picture viewers than readers so if you don't think you have anything to say, post a pic and we will all enjoy it! If you want up-to-date info, the forum is where it will be at way before the quarterly magazine - AND - you can access the ever-growing library of manuals at the same place.

I'll have more tomorrow.

Kurt

happy new year everyone. the last year seemed to fly by though.
yes many farmers are doing it tough here in our southern states thanks to repeated floods. its bad enough the major retailers are putting limits on the amount of frozen potato products you can buy. much of the potato crop is grown in the murray river valley which is now under water along with the processors too. along with a lot of other vegetable crops and dairy.
the murray- darling is the largest river system in australia and stretches from southern Qld all the way to south australia.

well as part of the poem goes 'I love a sunburnt country, a land of droughts & flooding rains, the wide brown land for me"- dorethea mckellar.
