D4D Power shift winch drive question

More

Does anyone know how a power shift D4D transfers power to a rear winch?  I just purchased a 22C D4D and was looking through the parts book but I don't see  a shaft or splined stub coming out of the back of the transmission to drive a pto or rear attachment like  a winch.  I have seen some pictures of power shift D4D's with rear winches and am curious how the power gets back to the winch?
Does anyone know what model Hyster winch or other brand would fit on a 22C?

Should be a short stub shaft out of the back of the transmission.

The 22C (power shift) did not have provision for a PTO unless it has the Transfer Gear Rear PTO arrangement.
This would allow interruptible control of the winch.

Ok, 955L's had that option too.

Thanks Old Magnet. Before I sent the original post I looked in the attachments section of the parts book thinking that the "Transfer Gear PTO Arrangement" or something similar would be shown. Unfortunately my parts book doesn't show anything like this. Where is this information shown?

My 22C1-655 parts book doesn't show the transfer gear group.
Can be found in later D4D's like 83J's
Plug in 8S3562 Transfer Gear Group on the net.  avspare.com shows a two part coverage.
It's a pretty elaborate conversion.

There is also another option (equally complicated) the 6P550 power take off group set up for the installation of the Cat #54 winch (all clutch operation)

Thanks Old Magnet. I looked up that part number and saw the diagram. That makes more sense. I didn't realize Cat did that back then. Looks like they were trying to save some costs if a customer didn't plan on needing a rear powered attachment.
