Ok now I have the RD4 SN#4G2884 running what can she do like what’s the pulling capacity and I live in some pretty steep foot hills so what’s the max incline it can handle. On inclines are there any got ya’s about oil starvation?
It was a blast running her around loosening up the clutches and next I will throw the blade back on and rework the hydraulics. So to all you old timers any operating advice would really be appreciated.
I'll throw some more pic's up after the blade is on.

The drawbar pull is about 10,000 lbs.
Maximum angle of operation is 45 degrees but that's getting pretty scary....on sides slopes you will probably start sliding before you can get to that angle.
Not to worry about oil suction as there is a scavenge pump to move oil from the front of the pan to the main sump to accommodate working on angles.
