Any suggestions how to clean the rust/dirt out of my engine block? There's at least 1/2" of crud packed around the bottom of the liners. Water just comes out clear because it's so hard and scaly. [attachment=69306]55190b83f92b596dd85fa8811eb12a19.0.jpg[/attachment]

radiator flush or luandry detergent and run it. you could also rod the passages with steel wire cable in a drill be care full though as it could rip you to shreds if it came out of the block.

if you have a freind with a steam boiler they could steam blast clean it for you.

instead of perfection some times we just have to accept practicality
