My Dad, up here in Canada has an old cat 10 rusting away in his back yard . I would like to get it running again , but I need some parts. It was last run about 10 years ago, but it never did run very well. It doesnt have the original carb on it and still the orginal plugs I think . The engine will still turn over , and with the right parts ,I think I can get it running and restore it someday..where could I gety the right carb and plugs.

That would be great, as my Dad lives North of Toronto as well. In a small Town called Bancroft .

a Carb from a John Deere H has been adapted to fit. Not long ago an Engine Machinist asked about a Carb for an engine project. I said how do you know it will be big enough? He replied that he has the bore and stroke to which to figure from. He isn't real math-savvy but is a really good machinist. So I got the carb he asked for.
What I am driving at is, ask around at the local shops, someone is liable to be able to tell you how much it will need to breathe and run.
