D4D steering problem was created by D4D83J
Help. I lost steering on left side this morning. It appears that the pivot pin and ball on the bottom of the yoke came apart. Does the pin unscrew out of the yoke or is the pin and yoke one piece? If you shine a flashlight in the rear access hole you can see broken pieces sticking up from the bottom of the yoke. Am I going to have to pull the top cover and drop the track to pull the steering clutchs to get in there? This really looks time consuming and not looking forward to this. I could sure use some advice. thanks for any help

You don't need to mess with the tracks but you will have to remove the top cover to pull the cross shaft assembly and remove the steering clutch assembly to replace the yoke. The yoke is one piece with replaceable ball but you will need a complete replacement yoke part # 5K8642.
