These boys are sure not in the recovery business! They should have called Hulcher or Corman.

Is this what they mean by the term "Chinese Fire Drill"?

I wonder what the service would look like after every compartment being completely filled with salt water.

Probably will have to wait a while for service while he pays down the retrieval bill. Would $20k cover it?

I love the big Cal fire dozers with their angle blades.

Is it ever worth trying to save after that much salt water and the amount of electrical to give trouble until it is all new.

It's a Public Works dozer.....money is no object. Probably just some water in the engine, a few flushes and good as new.

Yep!! Just a few squirts of clean water to clean 'er up!  :)  :)
Several years back I was working on a construction job and the crew left a drag line in the pit being dug for the outlet structure on a diversion dam.  Heavy rains, filled the pit and all that was sticking out of the water the next  morning was about 10 ft of the boom.  They dropped the pan on the Cat engine and flushed the innards with a high pressure hose.  Engine lasted less than half a day.

I'm just sorry Greenpeace, Wave Rider Foundation, EPA, OSHA, and DOT representatives weren't there to contribute.

The After Action Environmental Impact Report will be a doozy.
