Hello All,

At the weekend our TV Broadcaster featured Lindsay Willis, Caterpillar Collector on the nationwide prime time tv. The program - Country Calendar is a 40 year running rural documentary series, which features agricultural and related, but with a focus of sharing a rural perspective with "townies".

Lindsay's museum has featured in a number articles in recent ACMOC magazines, and those who have visited acknowledge it to world class. Documentary focus is on Lindsay and his achievements rather than the Museum per se.

TVNZ make these programs available free, via internet once they have been initially broadcast. I list below the link to the site / story. There is at an advert at the start, so guess that pays the bills, but don't lose heart the story starts after about 20 seconds. Play time is about 20mins ie 30min time slot with commercials.

Thanks for the information. From the photos, you can tell that the museum is definitely world class. Now let's see, which side of the road do you folks drive on? :>) As I recall, NZ is one of the rare countries with the "backwards" telephone dial. Of course, nowdays you use electronic switching with tone pads on the phone. Probably few know what a dial is anymore! GWH
