Thank you so much for the quick reply! I am 550 miles from the machine and am having photos sent to me. It has a crankshaft driven winch for the blade, but might have one on he rear as well, I hope I do not have to peel that off to see the number.

Well don't forget the engine block has the numbers too. Behind the starter pinion lever. If the tag is gone it was stamped into the block behind the tag.

Well, an old fella like me learns something new every day! Thanks for the update. I'll take a brush and some Brakekleen after that area and see if I have any luck.
