Hi all. I’m happy to report that I was able to get dads favorite 7U home. He bought it in the spring of ‘69 with 5900 hours on it. It’s a late one in the 42,000 range. Factory direct electric start, big front idlers, and five roller track frames. It’s got a traxcavator style tank on it, it’s not know if it came that way or if it was added later. In the late 70’s he had a oil clutch installed. It’s got over 14,000 hrs now and seems to run great.

Looks like it didn’t take you long to get the blade off. Nice looking tractor, great that you were able to get it back. How long was it gone?

Hi Mike, I sold it to my brother in law 20 years ago. Always regretted it. I got the blade and trunions off the day after I got it home. I still need to get the pan off and cut off the trunion mounts. Then in will get another bath.

Yeah BP: How do you get it so clean? Alladin? Landa? Rainbird? Hot water and pressure works the best. I hope you get some of the chemicals we talked about. JM

Hehe, a guy parks a manure crusted cat in his front yard and puts a sprinkler under it to soften the poo just once and he’s labeled an “okie” lol!!
We've been busy getting ready to have the house painted, so I haven’t finished getting it clean yet.

Just a pretty good pressure washer, although I’d like to get a hot water cleaner someday.
