Good Video!! I remember tilling and drilling about 20BC (Before Cabs) and all the dust and dirt. Brought back memories. All an umbrella would do is concentrate the dust under the umbrella!! For a D5 it is pretty fast. 😊 😊

anyone know about what the gallons per hour or per acre were on the D5 SA? why have wheel tractors taken over in the areas where these were once common?

D46U straight blade,D46U cat angle blade,allis chalmers AD4 grader and Khoering 404 dragline. D4C 40A,D4 2T and scraper.

A Cat always takes less power and fuel than a wheel tractor, today they only care about covering acres FAST there is no thought about fuel consumption differences or low ground pressure soil compaction problems with these heavy wheel tractors it all has to do with speed and a and a well appointed cab. You got that right Mike!!!! nowadays these young "farmers" want to get it done in an hour and then go play with the wifie poo or go out to dinner or visit the gym.
