Great pictures, thanks for posting. I have never seen a Fowler VF crawler with a cable blade like that before maybe a local one?

Thanks for the photos. I have tried twice before to get down the Lake Goldsmith and failed miserably both times. I'd like to get to one if they ever let me outa here.

By the look of it, the 'off-roading' didn't work too well with the 'travelling teakettle'. Good to see that the rescue service was on hand.

I'm with gauntjoh - that is wunn wilde blade arrangement on that Fowler VF - looks like something a farmer would cook up to fill a need. Then again, I didn't see any number 8 fencing wire there. NEVER underestimate a farmer.
