The ''J'' model has TWENTY-TWO cast into brass plates on the bottom of the radiator sides and CATERPILLAR cast on the top tank. Ser.#is on the LH engine side near carb. and on the rear of the tranny.

Just got back from viewing the tractor. Serial number 2F818 so I guess it's a '34. Now got to figure out a way to get it home.

I think General Gear in Boise has most of the parts you need for the restoration and you can't find anyone more reasonable.
I just bought some parts for my Twenty Two from them. I believe they had four of them and most of your parts are there.
They had an awesome radiator and grill with a different grille guard that may, or may not, have been hand fabbed, but it looked good.
Call, they'll send pictures of what they have.
