D7 tracks on D6 was created by helifixer
a customer of mine has a D69U in need of tracks and has an old D7 (don't know model ) cable rig that isn't fixable and wants to know if the tracks from the d7 will fit the d6?

That's a no go. D6-9U is 6.75 in. pitch the old D7's are 8.00 in.

I will try to plan a trip to check it out, there is suposed to be 2 D7 cable rigs on the ranch but no one knows where the other one is. they also have a cable operated cat scraper, don't know if it will be sold.

well I am now the owner of the D7, and the scraper. I don't know when I will have a weekend to go get serial numbers and pictures. my plan is to try to get the d7 running and drive it out, I might have a low boy secured to move it when needed ( don't know the cost yet)
