The operation of the scraper depends on the position of the bell cranks and a pinned bracket that holds the bowl to the frame. Inside the barrel at the top front of the frame is a hydraulic ram that has a rack welded ot the end. The bell cranks are fixed to a pinion that is operated by the rack. As the bell crank moves the bowl goes up and down. Because the bowl is also pinned to the frame the bowl will go so far and then it will start to dump. The apron is also pinned to the bowl so the operation of the apron is automatic. There is no way to control the thickness of the dirt being dumped. Some day I will post a video of the operation. Ihope this clears up any quesions.

Farmer, it is a little slower than I would like but it is what is on my D2. I have a two valve 41 unit ready to mount on my D2 as soon as I have time.

Hi Terry,

I had a great time at the show. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to spend. There are a lot of good exhibits to see, both static and dynamic and I found a few items at the flea market that I couldn't live without. I am looking forward to attending again to see the things that I missed on this visit.

Thank you and the rest of the crew of the Rock River Thresheree for your hospitality.

Regards,
Lee
