That is a 1944-46 Adams Motor Grader Model No.311Contracted in 1944 for the military , constructed in 1945 and sold in 1946 to the Territory of Alaska as military surplus. Adams are a shade or two off from Cat's yellow but because it was for a municipality it was panted that god awful Pumpkin Orange. 🤮I actually have a picture of one of the last Motor Graders ever made using the Adams name (dated Feb 1961) I didn't have the cash then or it would be in the yard now.JD Adams sold his interest to his friend and confidant Le Tourneau c1955 and the Adams' name was used untill 1960 execpt a hand full that finished out the contracts in Feb of 1961. for the Corps of Engineers US Army.
