Hi guys. I am very new to all this, but happy to be a part of the community.
I have a 1968 950 loader, SN 58H515. Photo attached. Can anyone tell me what the model is?
Many thanks!

You've already identified it. A model 950 wheel loader built in 1968 with D330A engine.
Built in Canada same as 90Axxxx US model.

Hi, Yukon950.
Unless I am mistaken, that would be the "A" series of the 950 loader line - WUNN TUFF MACHINE. I got to operate a couple of them. Have fun.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Not sure if what you meant was which of the multiple series of that model it is, but from my untrained eye, it looks like the first series produced in the 950 model range. I'm only saying that based on the cab arrangement. I drove a 950B loading logs in the 80s for a while and yours does not look like the same cab

Hi Bob,
if you have no success with your above requests Down Under here at our Cat Dealer we used to purchase some parts from our parts department and also a local on highway truck repair shop that specialized in brake systems.
Mainly we sent the barrels/cylinders or blocks to them for boring out over size and then get them to supply the overhaul kit and oversize pistons and rings to suit.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

your local engine reconditioner may be able to help you by reboring it to a size and fitting car rings. really no different to engine rings.

as its a bendix wabco unit try any good heavy truck workshop they may be able to supply the parts to fix it. also any good brake shop that does heavy truck work will be able to help you.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
