Hey I have a D7c 17a serial number 17a7271 and I want a in frame engine overhaul kit, gaskets, rings, bearings. Does anyone know somewhere I can get parts that are going to fit into this machine? Serial number is too old for the cat database and thats what most companies are accessing. Also wondering what the variations are between 17a7271 and 17a1+. If anyone has a book for this that would be great too. I can't locate the engine serial number but it is a D339 engine. Cheers

Hi Rat-den, Try Florin Tractor 1-800-223-9916. Dana it very knowledgeable and they have a large stock of old parts.
I looked through my parts books and the closest I came was 17A11879 to 17A19442. I will scan and post pages if you can use them.
Parts books are sometimes available on ebay.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
