No, it's not bent, the end is in the shadows, it's really hard to see. Some brand of "Hand Saws" hat.

I notice the added guard on the right side of both the RD7s above (piece of tin or bag). My grandfather had a D2 with a tin guard in the same place. He and my uncles added the guard to stop the fan blowing straw and dust off the leading edge of the right side track back over the operator. Apparently it wasn't an issue on the left side.
