Hello All
I may be able to purchase my fathers old Thirty Five with a gas engine. I found the weight of the Thirty Five diesel as 12500 pounds. Would the petrol version be similar in weight? The site that I found the weight on showed a picture of the Thirty Five without a blade but my fathers has a blade so would that be another 2500 pounds?
It is in a fairly poor condition and has not been going for years with the same old story that it was going when parked. I am thinking of offering them scrap price for it hence I need to know roughly what it weighs.
When we go to have a closer look at it I will take some pictures and get the serial number.

Regards

Phil

Hello All
I went and had a closer look at the Thirty Five yesterday and it is in much worse condition than I thought. The steering clutches have been removed and the gear box top is off and hanging from the canopy. Parts of the gear levers have rusted away. The CCU has been removed to get to the steering clutches and is just sitting in the dirt. Input gear is badly corroded. Engine is seized. Tracks are in fair condition. Fuel tank has holes rusted in it. Seat is gone. Hood is part rusted away.
The serial number is 5C1079, Both the serial numbers match so the engine is original. Can anyone tell me when it was built?

Regards

Phil

Hi Phil,
She was built in 1933, I sound like the perfect resto job, bits everywhere, things to find, the fun is in the chase and the pleasure is when she fires up for the first time.

Hello Daryl
Thanks for the info.

Unfortunately for me the owner has decided not to sell it and instead wants to repair it himself. I don't mind either way as long as the scrap man doesn't claim it๐Ÿ˜Š
