Help me ID this front CCU

On my friend's 1963 former US Army Corps of Engineers' D6B. No tags on the unit itself. He claims it is a Hyster with Cat stamped on it but I don't know enough to say otherwise. He wants to pick up the right manual for it and get the adjustments tuned up right. It's a little picky!

A Cat #116 CCU s/n 73Fxxxx.
Should be a tag on the LH side facing unit on the casting ear that sticks out, above the fill plug.
