Got a call to haul a Komatsu sprocket and idler from Komatsu in Milwaukee to a mine in Wyoming. I said sure sounds like fun. He told me the sprocket weights 7,500lbs and the idler weights 5,000 and it for a massive shovel. He didn’t know what model of shovel and I didn’t get to see it. But I wonder why they would just need to replace one side? Any ideas?

Maybe they had not ordered the other side yet or it was delivered previously?
