Some of you may remember that my 1961 D6B dozer had a cracked block that I have temporarily fixed. It was leaking water out side and some inside into the crankcase. I found this ebay listing for an engine out of a 12E motorgrader listed as a D333 engine block with crank, pistons and camshaft. I have read that this may be a D333 or a D333C engine. I understand that a D333C is not compatible with what I have. If this is a D333, I think his asking price is a little high because he has no idea of the condition. What do you all think? It is close enough that I could go pick it up.

Thanks Old Magnet. Want to give an educated guess what the block with crank and pistons would weigh? I have a heavy duty 1/2 ton and a 1 ton truck, but would prefer to use the 1/2 ton if it would handle it.
Just found my engine casting # 4M2950 is this compatible with
7M4400?

4M2950 is equivalent to the 7M4400
Complete D333's run about 2000 to 2200 lbs. I'd guess the block and internals is about half of that.
