Does anyone have a list of specs for the original 16 Motor Grader? I have found the weight and moldboard width (obviously) but that is it. By the looks of it, it has the D343 engine - must be at least 250 HP?

Tire size?

What transmission do they have? It looks like a 3 speed with another lever with 3 speeds as well - same as the old 830M wheel dozer?

I only have engine, driveline and controls specifications, not overall machine.
Looks like tires can be an issue, might plow through this HEF discussion

I believe the 49G would have had a D333 engine then went to the 3306. Not sure though.

The 16 49G uses the D343T @225 hp
The 16G 93U uses the 3406T starting at 250 hp and later was raised to 275 hp

Thanks for clarifying that Mag. Thought that was a little high hp for the 3306 at 275. Gary

Good info Old Magnet, thought the 16G only had 250hp.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
