The Ensign model number is AAe. That model information is stamped on the rim of the upper flange.
I don't quite understand what is missing? The high speed adjustment needle and spring is under the knurled cap (top center) in the picture.

There is no high speed adjustment needle and no spring under the knurled cap named "G" in your scanned photo, they are missing. Are there any reproduction needle and spring to get hold of?

Here is a picture of what you need.
The shaft is .125"
Should be an easy job for a tool and die maker. The spring only holds tension so the cap doesn't come off.
