They look similar to those. More rounded on the ends, but that could be from wear. I looked at those you linked to before but, of course none that I have found give any size or thread information. I don't have a parts book yet. Here is a picture I found on the net. It shows the left knob that looks like the link, and the right knob looks like mine.

It may be preferable to buy these from CAT. The ones on eBay don't look like they have the metal insert and could be weaker than expected with just threads in the plastic. Cat is still making all the knobs. Or try McMaster=Carr.
Do have an updated part number for the Cat ones? I checked the part number from my D6 5R book and they were no longer available.

Never mind. Just checked parts.cat.com again and the part number works. About twice the price of the ebay one but worth the extra.
