Hello All
I purchased a D330 engine out of a 950 traxcavator with the intention of putting it in my 944. The cylinder head is cracked in multiple places and cannot be welded due to crystallization from being overheated multiple times. so I am looking for another head. From what I can find out the 3304 is an updated version of the D330C. Is there any chance the head from a 3304 will fit the 950 engine? Serial number on the engine is 90A284.

Regards

Phil

No chance at all, the engine you've aqquired is a 4.5" bore D330T. The 3304 is 4.75" bore.

Thanks rusted. The main reason I asked was a lot of the replacement heads are listed as fitting both the D330 and the 3304. Did the later model D330's have the bigger bores?
