Hello.
Today I bought a Caterpillar 955, but have No info about it at all.. I dont even know the year of it..

I found a serial number: 12A2495
Can anyone Help me find the year of This one and Maby Weight and other spec?

Do you know enginemodel?
Where can i find for example how much oil for engine, gearbox etc...
Cant find it at Google...

The 955h is power shift with 330 motor and the 955 serie 12a is standor shift with D315 motor and crankcase oil 5 gal. transmission 4 1/2 gal.,final drive each side 1 3/4,fuel tank 30 gal. cooling systeme 11gal.

It is a 955C which uses the D315 engine not the D330T engine.

Your 955 nammed 12a serie

Coincides with the change from the HT4 to the 955 12A series in 1955.
