For anybody out there that wants a chance to win a 1937 Caterpillar "22" and are not going to be able to make it to the Woodland show. You can send check to the Heidrick Ag History Center and the staff will see that you get them back in the mail or you can call and have them put on a creditcard. The donation is $5.00 per ticket, drawing will be at the Sat. nite dinner and you do not have to be present to win.

Thanks to Willie who donated the tractor, Hahn for the seats, ACMOC for the decals, Rankin for some sheet metal and Ritchie Bros. for painting the tractor. ALL proceeds benefit the Heidrick Ag History Center and the Best Show on Tracks.
This 22 is going to make some collector a very happy camper when their name is called on Saturday night, June 21, 2008.

That is a beautiful tractor! This is another example of the very careful planning and hard work by the show's steering committee and the folks at chapter 5.

George, this is all Willie. Willie came up with the idea, donated the tractor, had Chap 5 guys help with mechanical, called Hahn, got the decals from ACMOC, talked Rankin out of sheetmetal and arranged the painting. Now Willie and Jackie are taking the tractor to various shows around N. CA selling tickets. Now that isdedication!

Hi, Tom Madden.
Just wind him up and let him go - only this time you didn't even have to wind him up. LOL.
Great stuff, Willie. This adds a bit more interest to what sounds like it might a VERY interesting show. Thank you.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

If you would like to buy tickets for the raffle you can call the Heidrick Museum and give them a credit card number and when it goes through they can fill out and send you your tickets. The phone number is 530 666-9700.This tractor has drawn a lot of interest.
If you are so lucky as to win the Cat 22 at the raffle, Willie or I can help arrange trucking but it is at YOUR EXPENSE.

to ask if we could re-donate it as it would be a large expense to ship it halfway across the US!

Is that considered a low top seat orchard tractor? Seems like the seat sides are a bit lower than normal.

Yep they do away with the toolbox under the seat mount a fender box, that lowers the seat 3 or 4 in., do away with precleaner and put little bump on the hoos with a screen

We would love to have you donate the tractor back and then we could auction it off and take care of the museum a little better. Great idea!! I hope you win it.
