I'm in need of some advice. Looking to add a 977 to my collection for restoration and a reliable play toy. I'm either wanting an early K model as in 46H serial number or the very late L series 14X serial. HP and ROPS aside, is the L better or any faster or the 3306 engine better than the K with the D333T?

Thanks guys.

I would definitely go for the 977L (14X), 3306T @ 190 hp with 2,541 units produced over five years vs the 977K (46H), D333T@170 hp with only two year production and 1,230 units produced.

Sounds good to me. Most people want to steer me away from the D333T engine all together.
Thank you.
