That cover and relief valve is used on many (not all) #46 Hydraulic Controls. Is there a number on the housing that might identify it as a Vickers Part?

That would be for the #173 Hydraulic Control. S/n 48Cxxxx that uses a 100 gpm tank/pump similar to the D6 #46 and yes I have the parts book. If this is leading up to pump parts a s/n is required as there are two different pump groups utilizing three different cartridges. Cartridges are all Vickers and individual Vickers parts should have Vickers part numbers on them. Parts are still around (so far) but you have to have the Vickers numbers.
At one time I had the Cat to Vickers cartridge numbers but I can't seem to locate them. Cat should be able to help with that if you can identify by Cat number.

Any of the three complete cartridges should interchange, it's just when you replace individual parts that they have to match the cartridge used. Some parts are common to all three, some not.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
