Neil: this is in your state; you'd better check it out. Man cannot live by restoring only D-2s!
This is NOT a post I needed to see right now : ) Just throw some buckets over the exhausts and lock the gates for a while....
(Does the guy have any 36As by any chance? I better come over for a look Tim, when does he permit viewings?)
Just trying to be helpful Neil. Just like some others here on the BB, LOL. Tempted are you? LOL. Be a gent and post pictures of what you ended up purchasing. BTW, I'm still looking for your track frames....
Are there any D6B Cats, I need a parts machine. Needs to be narrow track frame, I think its 37A model.
Is the d7 a cable machine or hydraulic? I am not terribly far from Gowanda either. I own land in Chautauqua county.
JoeG--have any interest in those 4 D7's in Mass? I just made an offer on one but he does want to sell all four--Neil??
Many thanks JM, much appreciated!
Dan, the next one needs to be a runner : ) at least until I get a new shop. Mother is getting tired of me working on old yellow junk in the garage although being there rather than down the road does mean it gets attention more often.
One of those units is a 17A - any idea on the serial #?
no idea on serial #'s--the three 4t's run and the 3t is a parts machine--2 of the 4t's are cable and one is hydraulic
I was meaning the one near Partscat - could be worth a look if it has the goods
