I found a honey hole of big dozers only a half hour from my place, and also a straight looking D7C 17A 1957. In my search for a new toy, I found a guy right in my back yard..almost.
I ended up buying a nice 1975 IH TD25C that runs great, with fair undercarriage and like brand new blade. Very good prices. The man also just got in two D9G's with ripper frames and blades. Both are good runners. Ex Mashuda machines from PA. He has four more TD-25's in various conditions and some AC/FA machines "HD-16's, etc. Some Terex's 82-30's, some other smaller Cats. Loaders, Hough and Trojans, that I saw running when we put the blade on my 25 and other machines.
I have some pics of the two 9G's and my 25. Also about 10 minutes from me is the D7C at another place. That one has not been started yet... maybe before the end of the month he will get to it. I have a post on here with pics of that machine. It might go to auction or he might sell it outright. it won't be high priced. Let me know if you want info. Tim.

Neil: this is in your state; you'd better check it out. Man cannot live by restoring only D-2s!

Is the d7 a cable machine or hydraulic? I am not terribly far from Gowanda either. I own land in Chautauqua county.

Many thanks JM, much appreciated!
Dan, the next one needs to be a runner : ) at least until I get a new shop. Mother is getting tired of me working on old yellow junk in the garage although being there rather than down the road does mean it gets attention more often.
One of those units is a 17A - any idea on the serial #?

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
