I have purchased a D6 9U in Northeast Washington, need to get it moved to Penngrove Ca, having difficulty finding mover that does not charge $2,500 or more. Problem seems to be that we can load on flat in Wa, no dock in Penngrove as yet to unload, any help or suggestions welcome, thank you, Tom

I don't know how many miles you're talking about, but I have a trucker based in Montana who is moving a 212 for me right now from eastern Wash to Helena Mont. for $3 per mile and who quoted the same for a D7 from Minn. He previously moved a D6 for me from Minn for about $2 per mile, but at the time was back there empty and needed a load and wouldn't likely do it again at that rate. he might cut you some slack since there's no blade (based on conversations I've had with him). I consider him very reliable.
email me if you want more info.

Not to volunteer a friend, but does 7upuller have a ramp at his yard in Petaluma?

I am going out of town for a week, if 7upuller would be up for dropping the D6 off, I can get truck and trailer to haul it over to Penngrove. I have a flat bed quote to haul it for $1,000 to Petaluma area. Thank you juiceman. Tom

Hey Tomtrak44,

Ship the D69u to;

Team Ghilotti's Yard
2531 Petaluma Blvd South
Petaluma, Ca. 94952

I can back my roll off truck up to the flat trailer and unload it. Then if I like the Cat, we'll have to arm wrestle on how to get it to Pengrove! Hahahaha

Call Glen at four one five, 72zero, 5936

OilSlick can help too...:deadhorse:😛ound::ballchain:

Tog: don't forget to feed him prime rib and lobster. If that's not available, two or three Tri tips might be adequate.😜
Glen: you're an inspiration to the group and mankind. Always helping whether it be a friend or stranger(looks like a new member AND neighbor here). You're awesome.
Tom: looks like you just joined the group? Don't be bashful like me, introduce yourself; it's nice to meet new members. Oh what the heck, want to see your new toy. Share some pics please. I'm curious if it is the 9U I had my sights on from CL. Welcome! Juiceman

I have not got pictures figured out yet, I am new to the board but not the ACMOC, just been gone 10 years or so. The D6 9u is going to ranch in Penngrove, where I had the pleasure of driving 7upullers D7 on a plow day. My family has had the ranch since 1856, my cousin is still farming there. The D6 was on craigslist at Walter Implement out of Odessa, Wa. Tractors broke down, we need to get the plowing done, so, D6. I'm still working, travel a lot for the job, and it is not tractor related at all, plastics. Will retire next year about this time, then will have time to play. Grew up in Penngrove, on the ranch, moved to south bay area after collage, been in plastics since then, but never can get the yellow out of the blood. My dad and his brother bought a 1946 D4 5t, war surplus, farmed the ranch for years with it, I spent many a night plowing the adobe on that old cat. Looking forward to working with this bunch, great people on this board, than you all that have replied and shared with me.

Jack Jack Jack, you must be the only BB member who thinks my truck is a Peterbilt.

Maybe you ought to adopt Orrin's TagLine of ~"There's more worth in Kenworth"!

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
