I don,t think the 613 had the D343 but maybe he got the numbers turned around as the 631 had it and the most common machines using it was the 87A 988 loader and the 38K- 983 loader and also the 657 scraper rear engine used it and also the 825 & 826 compactors also the 666 scraper used it too in the rear. These were tractors in their early years of production that used it. Also it was used as an over the road truck engine called a 1693 but had lots of housing changes to cut down on weight but the basic engine was still the D343. Off hand that,s the most places it was used but was used in a couple other applications esp. for industrial useage.
I think the 16 motor grader too. When swaping into other machines you should use fuel system from original machine.
Later Bob

what hp would that engine be rated at ?? how much did the complete tractor weigh ??
Depending on the serial number they ranged from 335hp to 360hp and topped out at 400hp during their 1962 to 1970 production. The whole rig weighed about 70,000 lbs.
Yes Bob the #16 grader used it too as I forgot about it using it.
The 983 track loader used them too. God what a beast they were😄
