All,

I am curious who all will be present at the Aumann Auction in Westminster, CA next Saturday. D4Angelo,Crawler Dollars and I will be going up and I think I saw where OIH will be in town and will show up. I learned last night that a preview of the auction will be on Friday so D4Angelo and I are going up to take a look.

We'd be happy to check out specifics for anyone else who will be bidding on line and can't be there. We are hearing that lots of other parts and stuff, not shown in the flyer or even listed will be going up for sale.

We are both "broke" so are not a threat to any serious bidders! That said, we are very curious though.

Several of us worked last Saturday and Sunday to pull stuff out and line it up. I will be back down Thurs am through the auction as well. OIH is now not able to attend.

There are mags, a couple more belt pulleys that will be listed on line, a few vac tanks, some 60 odds and ends, tool box, drawbar and a few more things. There is lots of stuff buried that is being pulled out each day. I think your idea of previewing Friday and posting photos would be good for all.

if just a belt pulley brings 4200 (so far) i can not imagine what a manifold, or some other important part will bring

I guess that is the beauty of an auction guys, for one given day we are going to know what something is worth at that moment in time. Erik, you are correct, now every old junk sixty with a belt pulley will in the eyes of the seller be worth $4,200 more because of the pulley (and I believe much more than that after Saturday).

Hell, I will tool up and start building perfect knock-offs at that price. I will even make them look old.

I am really bummed about not being there but going to the surgeon with my bride is much more important. It would be cool just to see all the stuff while still togather.

OIH,

We will miss seeing you up there but understand why you can't be there. All the best to Deb and you in the upcoming procedure. That is certainly in first place right now! Our thoughts and prayers will be with you.

She is getting to many days when she can not eat again and has tons of heartburn even with a daily dose of omeprasale.(spelling?) She was down to 97 lbs again at the doc on Monday. The surgeon wants to do the scope himself to see whats going on. There has to be a leak somewhere.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
