Hi, Folks
This one is mainly for residents of the Eastern states of Australia. I have a contact in Melbourne who is looking for a Cat 641A or 651A scraper tractor. He doesn't need the whole tractor-scraper unit but might be interested if he can find a good one. These tractors had the 90 degree D346 V8 engine in them and a 9-speed, 3 X 3 transmission.

The Melbourne contact told me that there were 3 X 641As that came up from Dartmouth Dam in Victoria to a dam near Texas. Qld, just North of the border with 'Mexico'. That would have been in the late 1960s or very early 1970s. He does not know what happened to them after that. He is kinda sorta hoping that they ended up on a station or two out west and are still in existence.

If anyone knows of one that might be for sale, please let me know and I will pass it on. Thank you.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
