So I have my motor all together and I was needing some advice on my fuel pressure guage. It's not all rusted, it seemed to work well when I first got the cat once I bled the system it came up nice to the right etc. The problem is the glass is broke,( I can replace that) i need to repair the bezel, but the face is completely wiped out. Can I get a face aftermarket? Or can someone please take closeup pic of theirs? My decal guy who has done some tractor stuff for me could probably make a replacement. I'm just trying to find some options. My cat is getting more yellow and less rusty and greasy every day I need my gauge to sparkle!!:tea:

Thanks for all the replies.

Hello There,
What model and year of Cat do you have? I had my instrument gauge faces restored by APT Instruments International. They did a great job, but itwasn't cheap.👍

I'm also intersted in finding someone to restore two gauges that I have for my Caterpillar 10 and 15. The gauges that I have are in fair shape but there is rust under the galss on one of them and the other dosen't read zero. Does anyone know a place that will take them apart and repair?

Thanks,

Joe

Funny you say APT. I didn't think they were around anymore. I grew up in Bloominton and they did some work for me when I was restoring my 1st car ( 1969 camaro). I plan on contacting them. Thanks for the memory jogging.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
