G, your always welcome to stop at my place in Bakersfield Ca and stay as many nights needed. Although I only have a few tractors compared to Garlic Pete who has lots of good stuff to look at.

General Gear & Machine is located in Idaho. It is off of Interstate I84 between Boise and Mountain Home. They have a web site @ TractorParts.com. You can take a look at their web site and get an idea of what they have. They have several acres of equipment including caterpillar.

Oil Slick , we will be in your area arround 20 or 22 of september.
I let you know before .

blwatson , thank you for that adres . But the only place where i am not welcome anymore .

I have bought several years from John parks but he says that i am a time waister .
First bought from complete undercarriage from D6 9U already 6 Or 7 yers ago.
Then when i go to his yard we spend a full day in his yard and bought for about 4000 Or 5000 USD .
The year after that we were again in Boise and wanted parts.
Jonn say , go in the yard and if you see loose parts , put these on a pile .
Other parts still on the machine , we will take of end of the day .
I asked before , but what about the prices ? I give the prices end of the day if you have found your parts .
OK , we have search the whole day and end of the day John drove arround with his pick-up truck and took all parts to the front of his old unit. Than he started to line up all parts and i asked how much for all the parts . He say , i have to find all part numbers and than i give you the prices later on .
So after i came home a week later , he send me a email with pictures from all parts, and a quotation with all the part numbers and their prices.
There were several parts on the list witch were to expensive for me , so i bought half off the list ore even a bit more .
A year later we were again there , and needed parts again.
Now he had a New office unit , but i was not welcome anymore .
I asked why ? He say i am a time waister, and he asked what is your shop rate .
He all searched the prices out by number , and i didt not bought these all .
So that is why i am not welcome anymore .even i was costumer for several years .

All parts i have bought were in a good condition .
And if you need parts , he will help you out to find the right parts and he will send good quality only .
No issue about that.

blwatson , thank you for answer on my request , but yards like that i am looking for .

Hi, Gilbert.
You could try Florin Tractors: http://www.florintractor.com/contactus.htm

or here: http://www.farmnetservices.com/salvage/CALIFORNIA_FARM_MACHINERY_EQUIPMENT_SALVAGE_&_USED_TRACTOR_PARTS/Florin_Tractor_Parts-11-5-0-0.html

or some of these from this list:

http://www.farmnetservices.com/salvage/CALIFORNIA_FARM_MACHINERY_EQUIPMENT_SALVAGE_&_USED_TRACTOR_PARTS/5-0.html

I did a Google search for "Caterpillar used parts for sale in CA or OR" and it came up with this list:

https://www.google.com.au/?gws_rd=cr&ei=TdXHV8sHhrfSBNHou7AN#q=Caterpillar+used+parts+for+sale+in+CA+or+OR

Hope this helps.

You might like to sneak up on that 7UPuller character in Petaluma, CA. and have a look at his collection too. Be careful though. He is so passionate about them that he has armed guards with orders to shoot to kill looking out for his old Cats. LOL. (Just joking - - - - But ONLY just.) (Hi, Glen.)

Gilbert,

You are welcome to visit, I'll even let you drive my Tanks, but warning.... My wife has a shotgun... Hahahaha... I found a new resting spot for lots of older iron. The older gentleman needs to get rid of it all. Many pieces, but bigger stuff. Stop by on a Tuesday Night for Cat Night. You know the routine. Come drive Mary Ann and see the Siamese Twin D8. Do you have my number?

Hi, Glen.
Is that a scream for pity that I am reading from Quad? Is he worried about getting sore ears from Gilbert's bragging about riding in or driving Mary Ann? If it is and he is, whose side are you gonna take? LOL.

Glibert, if you were going to be on the east coast I would give you a tour of Ederville, it has everything you can think of.....even farm tractors (1200+).
