Just wanted to give you a heads up to the latest ebay scam that was tried against me while selling the 2 ton parts. A question from an ebay member sent to my email in the standard ebay format in regards to my specfic item. this is what the question says" This is exactly what I`m looking for. I have all the necessary funds available. Before I proceed I would like to know what type of payment method do you accept? I`m hidding my email for privacy, you can reply using the yellow button. I`m looking to close a deal soon, so a quick reply will be welcomed. Looking forward to hear from you...
Mike"
Seems harmless, however if you click to respond, they have created a "false" ebay page which looks like the real thing requesting your login and password as ebay normally would when responding to questions.
Be really careful as this scam nearly got me, and I feel I am very aware of potential scams!!!!

Matt, Thnaks for the heads up. I have learned to do all of my communications through the "my ebay" page under the messages section. Good luck on your auctions!!
