Quest for the Best held kids of all ages spell bound at Tractors & Brews supporting the Heidrick Collection in Woodland. Doug Veerkamp, Sean Stover, and of course Jim were captured on film by Rodney Ramos. Doug focused on the importance and challenges of today's collectors and the role they play in preserving history, culture, and fascinating emerging audiences. The Veerkamp's put on a display of smoke and screen (Quest for the Best video) that spoke volumes at the California Agriculture Museum. Engines roared, and guests were spell bound. Hi, CalAgMuseum.
Great stuff. It looks like a good show and you had some great people in the Veerkamp group there to help with it. I would have liked to be there for it but your government reckoned I had already had enough fun and said that I had to leave your country when I did or I would not be allowed back again next year.

Thanks for sharing.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

I had a great time, thanks so much for putting this on. If you do this again next year, I hope we can help promote it through our local EDGE&TA branch.

For those not aware, the Heidrick Ag History Center in Woodland, California, has been rebranded as the California Agriculture Museum. Included in the collection are a large number of Best, Holt, and Caterpillar tractors, so it should be on your bucket list. www.californiaagmuseum.org

The museum has been reorganized recently, so it's worth a visit if you haven't been by for a while. There's also an exhibit by tractor artist Jeff Myers through the end of July. http://jeffmyersart.com/section/286485-The-Secret-Life-of-Machines.html

Great stuff, and so cool that the museum is also a ACMOC member. A hearty welcome.
