We have finally rented our first office and have now moved in. It is located in the City of Peoria, Illinois. We now have two employees working there: Tricia Potts, our Executive Director, and Kathy Schwindenhammer, her assistant. We have a new phone number (the old one will be working for a few months).

Our new address and phone number are:

Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club
7501 North University
Suite 119
Peoria, Illinois 61614

Telephone: 309-691-5002

Just a stones throw from the north end Cat Store. Know the area well. I will have to swing by the next time I get down that way.

Please do. You would be welcome. We are thinking of holding an open house in April when the board is in town for its annual meeting at Peoria. GWH

George,
When the board was in Peoria in April, if things work out for you guys it is only about a 2.5 hour ride up to my place from there. 1 or 2 things of interest to look at. Personally, I say it would be worth the drive. Let me know if it works out and we can set up a lunch or a dinner.

That sounds interesting Bob. I haven't seen your collection, although at the Iowa show in 2003 you had several pieces, including a snowplow tractor. I'll pass along your suggestion. GWH

Maybe you might want to see about going to the "Black Hole" also if you have some extra time while at Bob's.

Is the meeting in April open to the membership. If so It might be about the time I take a trip down that way.

I got to thinking this and there might not be enough time in one day as both Bob and Al have great collections. Both have some very rare and dirrerent pieces of Cat history. It is great to have two collectors like this in this area.

Thanks TW it has taken many years and alot of work to compile this mass of Cat-Iron,and Al has even a few more years. Your probably right, to see both places in 1 day you'll need a note pad. Thanks.
