While using the 4T recently it suddenly started missing and pressurising the radiator.
Cracked the injector pipes and found the miss on number 2 cyl.
Upon removing the injector this is what I found.
Not sure what order these photos will appear but the first photos should be of the pre still in the head with the injector removed showing the leak.
The next should be with the pre removed showing the junk in the cooling system and coolant sitting on top of the piston.
Then the chamber hole and piston cleaned up ready for the new pre.
Photo of the outside of the pre showing the erosion hole and the specially designed tool for removing the pre.
"New" pre and seals.
Pre ready to instal.
With installation of the "new' pre the engine started easily and problem solved.
Some of the regular BB users have seen this problem many times before but reading some of the posts we have a world of people who have never experienced this sort of thing before.
Hope this is of interest to BB users.
And of course we have Conrod sitting on the seat giving moral support.
Andrew, K.

Good Idea Andrew what a lot of people on here dont realize is that people new to the hobbie dont really have the chance in life to learn how to do this stuff in the normal ways of the world any more and what a lot may think is simple can be quite daunting to others

Thanks for a taking the time to share

Yeah thanks for the support Paul.
Last week end my son Jack,s bike wouldn't run. There was a group of them trying to get it going . Including a Cummings Mechanic . Every time I walked past I said disconnect the kill switch. What would I know????
After the coil magneto and all the rest they disconected the kill switch. Guess what happened .
What would I know????

Here are the O ring and copper washer part no,s
The pre chamber came from a bucket under the bench. If you really need the part no I can find it in the parts book.
These of course are not the press in type with the saddle type injector clamp. Press in chambers use a different O ring and copper seal
