Just got a pair of RD7 fenders shipped from AR to SC for $100. Was very straight forward. I can recommend the service.

I hear more and more about shipping through Fastenal, mostly from car guys shipping tin. Seems to be a good alternative. Also see some stuff shipped through Grayhound at much cheaper rates than common carriers although it is a bit more hassle.

Seem to be easy to work with, only issue I ran into was they have no forklift, so unloading a pallet with parts from my pickup truck for them to ship was not the best.

Fastenal will not ship into CA. They don't have enough freight leaving CA to justify bringing trucks into the state. I had a D-8 tilt cylinder (apx 600 lbs) shipped from upstate NY to Chad's in Laramie WY for a very reasonable cost. It arrived in time for Chad to bring it along for the Santa Margarita show last Memorial Day. As long as it fits on a pallet and strapped down, they will haul.
D-4 7U-43159 with 4S dozer and Cat 40 scraper, D-7 3T-1179 with Cat 7S hydraulic dozer, D-7 17A 13,944, D-8 14A-1160 with Cat 8S cable dozer, Cat 12-99E-4433 Grader. All runners and users.

I had a belt pulley for a S/PS Thirty shipped out of California by Fastenal a few months ago with no problem. So they will ship out of California, do not know about into but I can not see why not. I will use the again!

I got 2 pallets from different stores in CA. last year (2015) with no problems. Will definitely use Fastenal again for shipping. We buy a good bit from them through work so have a good relationship.

I have shipped car parts through Grayhound. They are cheaper than ups or fed ex but the heaviest they will carry is 100 lbs.
