Yep, I picked it up a couple years ago now its been I guess, how time flies. Its pretty amazing the work it will do with not even a grunt. Came pretty well tooled, bed is wore but it still puts out decent enough work for me. It was made in 1944 or 45 so its seen some years of use and abuse.
9S8927 is a 1952 model. Torque converter drive would give you a huge advantage on starting loads along with reverse feature.

That is a good looking set up. I bet it is a real powerhouse with that torque converter drive!

Thanks OM, is there something more search friendly I can look for on the trans model instead of that long number?
No, everything in the parts book breaks down into sub assemblies. They have Cat reference numbers but refer to Twin Disc documents.
Maybe was originally out of a tug boat?
